Masonic Charity

“While we do our good works let us not forget that the real solution lies in a world in which charity will have become unnecessary.”  - Chinua Achebe, Anthills of the Savannah

The Greatest of these is Charity:

Freemasons are taught to practice Charity and to care for not only their own, but also to provide relief and comfort for the community as a whole. As Masons, we do this through individual charitable giving and voluntary works & efforts.

The many organizations which comprise the Family of Freemasonry support or contribute to countless charities throughout the world.  Within the Unites States alone, Masons contribute more than two million dollars per day to a variety of charities. These contributions are sometimes known and in many other instances, are much less visible. As Masons, we strive to ease the distress and discomfort outside of any recognition.

There are many agencies throughout Arizona which provide relief and charitable giving. Here are a few we support.

Volunteer Groups

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some, it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others, it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding

Gila Valley Masonic Lodge takes great pride in giving back to the communities where we live, work, and play. If you are interested in being part of our efforts contact us today.

We are always looking for volunteers.
